Doug Rhoten

Doug Rhoten is Chairman of ICAP Patent Brokerage. President of Garvin Guy Butler (GGB) Broker for 5 years from 1994, CEO of ICAP Americas for 15 years from 1999, responsibilities included ICAP Americas' brokerage & operations comprising of 1,800 employees and $800 million in revenues. His executive roles also included representing the Americas on ICAP's Global Management and Risk Committees, Chaired the Americas Operating Committee, a member of the ICAP Global Intellectual Property and Technology Governance Committees and was a founding member of The Green Exchange. He initiated ICAP's expansion into the brokerage of non-capital markets products such as factoring, longevity, logistics, media rights, and patents. Mr. Rhoten has been an active participant on a number of industry committees, including serving as a former member of the US Federal Reserve Bank Foreign Exchange Committee, the Chilean Products Exchange & the Boards of Cross-Asset Software, CABEI & the New Heights Warriors Charity. He established and maintained Board positions on ICAP's partnerships with the Mexican, Chilean, Colombian & Peruvian Stock Exchanges. After retiring from ICAP PLC in 2013, purchased & assumed Chairmanship of ICAP Patent Brokerage, CoFounder Otra Capital Venture Debt and Alternative Lending Fund, founding member of LES Patent Standards Committee, FFCV Mentorship Committee, Founding member IP Angels Fund, Advisor for: Sinai Eating Disorder Clinic project, Spiral Sun Healthy Food Fund, Synapcis Neuroscience, Liquineq BlockChain, Espear, Board Directorships: IPGL Investments PLC, Slice Sodas, Glasswall Cyber Security Solutions, Incubex, Bamcore and Apiary Life.
