Korea Transaction Hub

ICAP Patent Brokerage will host the Korea Transaction Hub (KTH) event, a groundbreaking offering of inventions and technologies developed by Korea-based entities, with kickoff to be held this spring at Seoul National University Tech Center in Seoul, Korea.

ICAP Patent Brokerage’s global network of buyers will be given the unique opportunity to purchase patents from some of Korea’s premiere centers of innovation. The majority of offerings are highly valued, with a low level of encumbrances, aligned with highly relevant technologies such as: LTE, lithium ion batteries, solid-state devices/non-volatile memory, nanotechnology, DVR/OTT/IPTV - and all with “buy-it-now” pricing.

Additional Korean entities continue to offer their support and/or submit patent portfolios to the catalog.

This KTH event represents a strategic conduit between Korean enterprises and global patent buyers. Korea, with the respect to population, represents the largest number of annual patent applicants in the world. Working in closely with the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO),  the Korean Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) and other Korean R&D Institutions, ICAP Patent Brokerage will offer Korean owners of patents “plug & play” access to the largest network of global buyers. The group will facilitate the consignments for sale of high quality portfolios in the KTH catalog, to be released at the opening event on April 6th in Seoul. This important event represents another ICAP Patent Brokerage step toward offering a cost effective, standardized approach to how countries transact within the global patent market.
