Therefore, the user can easily click a displayed phone number to initiate a call between the user and the third party (i.e. a merchant or an advertiser associated with the phone number). - A telephone call is established between a user and a merchant based on the user’s request to a telephony server. Subsequently, the merchant is displayed a message including an offer to establish a telephone call with the user in exchange for payment of a predefined fee. When the merchant accepts the call, then phone call is initiated between the merchant and the user. Further, the merchant may be charged a fee for this service.
