Dean Becker is Chief Executive Officer of ICAP Patent Brokerage. ICAP is the world’s leading Interdealer Broker.
Mr. Becker has distinguished himself as one of the world’s leading entrepreneurs in the development of next generation technology markets. He is a serial market maker recognized for his vision as to where and how technologies will be deployed and he has expanded his product technology focus to include assessment of the patents which govern his areas of interest. He has transacted hundreds of millions of dollars in intellectual property asset sales and licenses, consummated in both public auctions and private negotiations.
Mr. Becker began his career in the wireless paging industry more than 30 years ago with a relatively unknown technology, wireless 900 megahertz paging, targeting niche service and professional markets. He is widely credited with creating the market for general consumer paging, coining the term “beeper” in the process. Mr. Becker assembled and then successfully sold in 1994 to Arch Communication the first consumer paging service in America, Becker Beeper, which became a regional powerhouse in wireless messaging, as well as the largest privately held radio paging and electronic messaging service in the country. Mr. Becker has also been very active in retail wireless phones. In 1999, he created eWireless, a patent-based abbreviated dial service across all major wireless carriers that enabled direct response consumer marketing for participating radio advertisers.

Paul V. Greco is a Senior Vice President in ICAP Patent Brokerage’s New York office, and heads up the high tech brokerage group for both the Private Brokerage and Live IP Auction platforms. Mr. Greco has been a practicing attorney for 19 years, focusing on corporate finance, M&A, securities and intellectual property matters for businesses in the on-line, software development and consumer products industries. In 2004 he founded and partnered in Sierchio Greco & Greco, LLP, a boutique securities law and venture capital practice. From 2001 through 2004 he was a principal in the law firm of Garvey Schubert Barer, a multi-jurisdictional, full-service firm. Prior to this he co-founded and was a principal partner in Aieta & Greco, a securities, IP and venture capital boutique located in the hub of New York’s Silicon Alley. Since 1999, Mr. Greco has been Director of AGB2 Inc., a privately held intellectual property development and holding company. He is also listed as an inventor on two issued U.S. patents. Mr. Greco graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English from Boston College and received a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to the New York, SDNY and EDNY bars.

John Pryor is Senior Vice President in ICAP Patent Brokerage’s London office, and heads up Europe for both the Private Brokerage and Live IP Auction platforms.
Prior to joining ICAP Patent Brokerage, Mr Pryor was Vice President at CPA Global, a $1bn intellectual property company and the market leader in the management of intellectual property. At CPA Global he was responsible for developing and executing programs to help clients align their IP portfolios with their corporate strategies and to realise substantial economic benefits and returns on their IP investments.
He also served as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture and Sales & Marketing Manager with Procter & Gamble. He has an extensive knowledge of IP strategy and a thorough understanding of how businesses can best manage their intellectual property. He has an MBA from Warwick Business School and a BSc (Hons) from Kings College, University of London.
Tim Schnurr

Tim Schnurr is a broker at ICAP Patent Brokerage. Located in ICAP Patent Brokerage’s Manhattan office, Mr. Schnurr arranges patent transactions via private sale or placement in the firm’s biannual auctions. Mr. Schnurr is heavily involved in identifying transaction opportunities and analyzing patent data. Prior to joining ICAP Patent Brokerage, Mr. Schnurr was an equities analyst at ICAP producing macroeconomic analysis and sector stock analysis for ICAP’s global customer base. Prior to ICAP, Mr. Schnurr was a portfolio manager and desk analyst at DA Capital, a fixed income focused hedge fund. Mr. Schnurr made CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations) investments on behalf of the CLO that loaned to medium sized business in Europe and the US. Mr. Schnurr started his professional career as a product controller and fund administrator for Pioneer Investments. His education includes a B.A. in the Economics from Bucknell University. Mr. Schnurr holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
