ICAP Patent Brokerage oversees the due diligence process on every portfolio for sale. Our team acts as liaison between sellers and potential bidders to ensure all necessary documents and contracts are submitted. Online Secure Data Room Qualified Bidders will have access to a password-protected online data room that will contain detailed information regarding the intellectual property and related items for sale.

ICAP Patent Brokerage retains a listing fee on portfolios offered for sale through Live Auction.

-    Listing Fee is waived for portfolios with a Reserve Price less than or equal to $150,000 USD per US patent

-    $10,000 USD for portfolios with a Reserve Price greater than $150,000 USD per US patent 

Consistent with traditional auction practice, ICAP Patent Brokerage receives a 10% buyer’s premium and 15% seller’s commission of the final bid price on every lot sold.
